Welcome

My name is James Miller and I have been around cars my whole life.  I grew up going to the drag strip with my Dad.  He instilled a love of old cars and going fast.  This hobby also led to a lot of skinned knuckles from learning to wrench.  My grandfather was a ford mechanic and gave me the sage advice that if I was going to go into cars, I needed to learn how to make them pretty (aka paint them).  So that’s what I did. I spent my early years in collision and body shops learning all types of vehicles while building my own on the side. I then moved to a hotrod shop and built complete custom rides using my 25+ years of accumulated knowledge. Now I do it under my own name at Sparkburn Hotrods. 

Sparkburn Hotrods is all about tailoring your ride to you.  We build all types of rides from your daily driver hotrod to show cars. We even work in some collision from time to time for old times’ sake. We understand each build is different and each customer’s goals are different. Our team is made-up of 4 people, including myself.  Andrew Dugan is our wiring and assembly specialist. Jack Horning is our bodywork specialist, as well as our up-and-coming painter.  Meisha Johnson is our office manager handling all the paperwork.
